(EN) Jet Leg Fest is a minifestival for superindependent but professional rock bands with an aspiration to regularity. In future an elitist concept may be chosen and the format would always involve just five or six bands and it would be problematic to get to the program. The overall goal is to broaden the geographic borders of performers and get on an international level. The idea for the musicians is to get to know each other, each other’s music and culture.
There will be a competition between the bands during the festival. The winner will automatically headline the next festival. Other candidate bands will have to work hard to get to the band list.

(DE) Das Jet Leg Fest ist ein Mini-Festival von absolut unabhängigen aber professionellen und regelmässig in Erscheinung tretenden Rockbands. Der “elitäre” Ansatz eines Minifestivals soll zukünftig beibehalten werden: das Line Up wird stets aus maximal sechs Gruppen bestehen. Stattdessen verfolgen die Organisatoren mit den Teilnehmer-Bands das Ziel, die regionalen Grenzen zu überschreiten und international aktiv zu werden sowie internationale Acts für das Festival vor Ort zu gewinnen. Dadurch lernen sich die Künstler persönlich kennen und bringen Erfahrungen aus ihrem eigenen musikalischen und kulturellen Umfeld ein. Obwohl kein Wettbewerb, wird es eine Art Gewinner geben, der beim nächsten Festival das Line Up anführen wird. Und wer sich als Band für die raren Plätze des nächsten Festivals bewerben will? Einfach wird es nicht! Sie sollte daher das “gewisse Etwas” haben!
